Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.
I am climbing Mt Kilimanjaro on Feb 5th 2010 to help raise the vital funds needed for the new Louis Dundas Centre for Palliative Care at Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital.
Louis was a patient at GOSH who died from a brain tumour in April 2008, aged four.
Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania is the
highest free-standing mountain in the world. At its summit it reaches 19,340 ft which is over 2000ft higher than Everest base camp, it's a big mountain!!! Our trek takes the less trodden Machame route taking 6 days and covers approx 100k through rainforest and african plains. I feel confident that through laughter, willpower and plenty of pills I can make it to the top!
GOSH CC needs redevelopment and money to continue vital research to make
sick children better. Any money you give makes a difference.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and
totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Great Ormond
Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSHCC) gets your money faster and, if
you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3%
supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for helping me to make this challenge work and donating what you can.
