Cancer effects everybody at some point in their lives which is why we, Gail and Trudie,  are raising money to support Macmillan as they offer support, advice and care to patients and families thoughout their cancer journey.

The 26.2 miles will be an extremely difficult challenge. Trudie ran the London Marathon in 2013 (for MS) but as a Lupus sufferer battles fatigue and aches everyday. Gail, at the moment, is at the start of her running career and is finding it tough but as a Macmillan palliative care specialist nurse knows how cancer effects everyone at any age. 

Together, Gail and Trudie need your help to motivate us, support us and help us to raise our pledge of £3000 for such a worthwhile charity.

Trudie has now also signed up to the Capital Marathon (London to Cambridge) in August for Macmillan. Some of the money donated to this page will also be used for that.
