Family AAKH - Ahmed, Ahsan, Khan & Hoque

As-salāmu ʿalaykum  ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ‎

Our inspiration and motivation derives from the work that Team MC have undergone in the first Kenya tour in 2019. Our brother Fahim was involved and each one of us were moved from what the team have accomplished; building a Masjid and aiding the children of Kenya with resources to education.

The past year (2019 - 2020), the team have grown exponentially with family members being involved in this project. The project in 2020 developed swiftly with further Madrasahs being built, and our goal was to raise money and sponsor a Madrasah as a family. ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ , this was accomplished.

Now, as the team for Kenya tour is ever growing, ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ‎ . Our team have decided that the next project focus be in Gambia. Providing first hand charity work in Kenya 2019 and 2020 has given us the opportunity and experience to assist West Africa, in particular, Gambia.

The primary goal is to build a Madrasah to provide an education system for the children, this will be based in rural areas where the children who find it difficult to either travel or are absent to education as a whole. Indeed will have access to education in the future إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ‎ .

Abu Huraira (RadhiAllahu ‘anhu) reported: Allah’s Messenger ﷺ as saying: When a man dies, his acts come to an end, but three, recurring charity or knowledge (by which people) benefit, or a pious son, who prays for him (for the deceased). [Sahih Muslim – Book 13 – Hadith 4005]

This in turn will form the foundations of a community to bring parents, teachers and students together. And grow with knowledge and wisdom.
