The Wales Air Ambulance Charity provides advanced life-saving emergency care for everyone in Wales, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are a ‘mobile emergency department’ that relies entirely on donations to keep our helicopters in the air and rapid response vehicles on the road.

Gareth Charles yw Gohebydd Rygbi BBC Cymru. Yn enedigol o Bonthenri yng Nghwm Gwendraeth mae wedi byw yng ngyffuniau Caerdydd ers graddio o’r Brifysgol yno ar ddechrau’r ‘80au. Fel rhan o’I ddyletswyddau I Radio Cymru a Radio Wales mae e wedi gohebu ar 6 Cwpan Byd, 5 Taith Llewod a 9 Rownd Derfynol Cwpan Heineken. Yng nghwmni Johnathan Davies mae’n sylwebu ar Scrum V bob nos Wener ar BBC 2 Cymru.

Gareth Charles is BBC Wales’ Rugby Correspondent. Originally from Ponthenri in the Gwendraeth Valley he’s lived in or around Cardiff since graduating from University there in the early ‘80s. As part of his duties for Radio Wales and Radio Cymru he’s reported on 6 World Cups, 5 Lions Tours and 9 Heineken Cup Finals. Alongside Jonathan Davies he commentates on Scrum V on BBC 2 Wales every Friday night.
