Rainbow Railroad is a global not-for-profit organization that helps at-risk LGBTQI+ people get to safety worldwide. Since our founding, we’ve helped over 13,000 LGBTQI+ individuals find safety through emergency relocation, crisis response, cash assistance, and other forms of assistance.

Story

Grave human rights abuses against LGBTQI+ people. are about to take place in Uganda given the recent legislation that calls for the death sentence. Uganda was already an unsafe place to be LGBTQI+, but imagine the very real dread of that violence and threat now worsening?

So I urge you to join me in supporting Rainbow Railroad. They are an NGO with deep international networks and contacts within Uganda that help to reach LGBTQI+ people currently in hiding - facing persecution and threat of death - and bringing them to safety.

LGBTQI+ lives are no more, but certainly no less, worthy of protecting, but the risks are unquestionably greater for Ugandan LGBTQ+ people, as is the kind of expertise needed to rescue them.

Please help. Thank you.
