Story
Hi Everyone!
I am taking part in The British 10k London Run on Sunday 12 July 2009 to raise much needed funds for The London Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy.
One birth in 400 is affected by cerebral palsy. This is a non progressive physical condition which results from brain damage, usually around the time of birth.
The Peter Rigby Trust runs Londons only specialist centre and school for children with cerebral palsy. Services include one-to-one support for families with children under 2 years old, parent and child group sessions, a nursery, a school for 5 - 11 year olds and training sessions for families and professionals. More details are on the website www.cplondon.org.uk.
Please support me. With your help, The London Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy can help more children like my son's friend, Kai (Aged 4).
Your gift will make a real, lasting impact. It will be put to the best use possible, directly where the children need it the most.
Here are some examples of what your donation will help fund.
£5 - two-handed cup or picture book
£20 - one parent and child session
£50 - a home visit or switch access computer game
£100 - a ladder back chair or new reading scheme
£3 million - a new school building (their dream wish!)
Thank you for your support.
Gary
