Sense is here to support disabled people from the first weeks of life through all the major milestones of adulthood. Over 70 years, we’ve built extensive knowledge and expertise in supporting disabled people with complex needs, including deafblind people.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

On Sunday 4th November, I will be taking part in the ING New York Marathon to raise funds for Sense, the UK's leading national deafblind charity.

Having completed my first London Marathon in April, I'm looking to beat  that elusive time of under 4 hours !!  It is not only an opportunity to push myself physically but I am also attempting to raise £800 for Sense's work. The organisation works very hard to transform the quality of life for people who are both deaf and blind throughout Britain.

So please dig deep and sponsor me to run the London Marathon and your support will actively improve the lives of deafblind people.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Sense - National Deafblind and Rubella Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support,

Gavin
