We are running the Great North Run! Yes, both of us!!

My Dad was diagnosed with lymphoma five years ago and recently began chemotherapy.  Having been inspired by my sister Ali's efforts in last years race, I decided that I would support him and raise funds for this truly fantastic charity by running myself this year.  I have not run any sort of distance for some time (3 mile cross-country at RAF Bruggen circa 1989), but we are training hard and we will succeed!  Simon ran the Bournemouth Bay Run half marathon in April and we both completed the Darlington 10K in August as part of our big race preparation.
