Cotswold 100 Ultra Marathon · 28 June 2013

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

On 28th June I will be taking part in the Cotswold 100 Ultra Marathon. A non stop run around the Cotswolds raising money for MND Association.

Please sponsor me what you can :)

About the challenge...

The circular route covers 100 miles on the hilly roads around the beautiful Cotswold villages. Starting and finishing (hopefully) in Stratford-upon-Avon at midday on the Friday I will run throughout the day and night in order to complete the distance within 24 hours.

About me...

Why? Well to see if I can!

And to raise awareness of Motor Neurone Disease and to support the MND Association.  Twelve years ago I lost my dad to this cruel disease and recently I've become involved with the local support group for the charity.

I've seen the good work that the MND Association do to help support local people like my dad.  The money raised also goes towards vital research in the hope that one day there will be a cure and the world will be rid of MND.

So please spare whatever you can. Thanks
