Story

Thanks so much to everyone who has sponsored me!

I had an amazing day yesterday.  The sun was shining, and the atmosphere was amazing.  The swim was challenging and very different to any swim I have done before. But I loved it!

If you would still like to donate to Diabete's UK and help me raise as much money as possible please do, every little helps.

Many thanks in advance.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On September the 13th 2009 I will be racing across lake Windermere, taking part in the Great North Swim (1 mile race).  I am hoping to raise as much money as possible for Diabetes UK.  I have chosen the diabetes charity as this is a disease that affects several people I know and love.

I have been training hard for this race, and I am getting more nervous by the day!  I am used to swimming in a lovely warm, clean pool... so I think the lake will be a bit of a shock to the system! Very cold, dirty and grim ... nice!

Please help me complete this race by donating to this extremely worthwhile cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
