I will be jumping off a plane to raise money for The Edinburgh Sick Kids Hospital on the 4th of September and I would really appreciate everyone to help me raise money for one of the few worthwhile charities still left!

I unfortunately don't believe in giving to charities such as Oxfam, Shelter, etc since only a TINY percentage of the money they make actually goes to charity...most of the money gets swallowed up by directors, office staff, paperwork, advertising, etc etc. Why would a charity run itself like a business?!

Anyway, donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I am raising money for a very worthwhile cause and at least it will be going to a LOCAL charity for LOCAL KIDS and even possible YOUR OWN KIDS some day.

From my own experience, the Edinburgh Sick Kids Hospital is the first place i think of when my own son falls ill or has an accident...they are soo well organised and know how to handle kids of all ages in all circumstances.

Where as the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary are totally useless!! It took them 45minutes just to try and take Giovanni's temperature! And in the end they couldn't manage because of his crying and screaming that they ended up sending us all the way to the Sick Kids Hospital in Tollcross in the centre of Edinburgh! What a joke...

Anyway, please dig deep and donate now. One day when you have kids of your own you will realise that this hospital deserves every penny they can get...thanks for reading!
