Hi, I’m Geraint Thomas. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year, my love of Mountains took my passion for the outdoors, to another level. I joined the Western Beacons Search and Rescue team. I was immediately impressed by the professionalism of the group of volunteers who all have day jobs, just like you and me. These guys are all willing to drop their work and family time, to come to your aid, whatever time of day or night, in whatever weather conditions are present. I have already assisted rescues on the Black Mountain and helped rescue casualties, long before the stretched, paid Emergency Services, have arrived.

However, we need your support. Our callout services do not demand a fee. Funding comes from team members, in their precious  time off and through sponsored activities.

It will go directly to helping those who find themselves suddenly in need, in the Brecon Beacons and  outdoor environments, we all love.
