Story

In November I will be taking part in my first fundraising attempt... Movember. Let's be honest, a marathon was never on the cards however I hope by growing some facial hair I will be able to contribute to a very worthwhile cause.

All donations will go to the Liz Monks Appeal which is trying to raise enough to fund a Macmillan Cancer Support staff member, to be able to work full time for one year at the Royal Free Hospital in London.

Whilst I never had the pleasure of meeting Liz, her brave battle with small cell neuroendocrine cancer has inspired me as my Mum, Liddy Gwilliam/ Oldroyd, fought a NET. Having seen the wonderful work of Macmillan and the Royal Free first hand I would love to be able to contribute to this appeal.

Therefore any donation is warmly welcomed and who knows... maybe even inspire that elusive marathon!

Thanks,
George

P.S. yes I did give myself a head start but only so I have to endure the 'Mo' for the whole month, therefore encouraging donations!
