Severn Hospice provides specialist care and emotional support for families in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales living with an incurable illness. All our care is provided for free, but it is not without cost - we have to raise £2 for every £3 we spend. It's because you care that we can.

Story

Those who knew Giles will have known him as an immense man; a gentle giant with an incredible brain, and a man who loved his family beyond all else. Throughout his illness the Severn Hospice supported him and our family wonderfully, giving people and time so generously up until the very end. Every single carer and nurse was so kind and joyful, and made everything feel so much more certain, even in difficult circumstances. In Giles's memory, we would love it if any and all donations people wish to give could come through this page, so that we can give back to the Severn Hospice in the same way they gave to us. This means that other people in similar positions to us can receive the same level of support, encouragement, and love thart we have been so privileged to receive, whilst nursing their loved ones at home.

We thank each and every one of you for all of your incredibly kind support. We feel so loved, appreciated, and amazingly blessed. Above all, we know Giles would have loved to see the outpouring of support, love, and kindness from everyone. Thank you again.
