We’re leading the fight for a future where all young minds are supported and empowered, whatever the challenges. We’re here to make sure children and young people get the best possible mental health support and have the resilience to overcome life’s difficulties. Join our fight.

Story

Give is a fundraising business that aims to encourage young people to get involved in charity work, promoting awareness of young person charities and raising funds.

Give is run by a group of sixth year pupils from Inverkeithing High School who are all studying Advanced Higher Business Management. This year we were offered the opportunity to participate in the ‘Young Enterprise’ competition, in which we compete against other schools in Scotland to develop and launch a business. As we were brainstorming various ideas we came across a report that spoke about the lack of charity work carried out by this generation and that we were in fact donating considerable less than our parent generation. This promoted us to think about why young people weren’t giving and what we could do to change this. We realised that there was a gap in the market for a charity aimed solely at teenagers, which was exciting and unique. From this research Give has developed, from our bright colours to our chat up lines we hope to encourage everyone, in particular young people to get involved with charities!

Our company focuses our donations on ‘Young Minds’, a charity based in London, which cares for improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people. If you would like more information about this cause then feel free to visit their website http://www.youngminds.org.uk/.

We are very thankful for every donation and would be very appreciative if you could post this on your facebook, twitter, email, myspace, blogger, flickr, instagram, stumbleupon, linkedin, msn, bbm and even bebo if you still have it!
