My good self (Adam Cope) and Mr. Jordan Hunnisett are departing our fair country for a European adventure, Crossing through France, Italy, Germany Switzerland, Austria and Czech republic (all in 4 days mind!!!) This will total out at 1500 miles, provided that we don’t get lost.

We are going to cover this voyage of discovery into the unknown in our trusty £180.00 steed, (Gladdis) please see above. That’s right £180.00 will buy you a 1996 2.0 Volvo V40 with no clutch, two pages of MOT failure points and either 180,000 or 210,000 miles on the clock depending whether you go on the odometer or the numerous receipts with the mileage on.

 

After many a hard hour of physical labour from Jordan (a mechanic) under my expert supervision (a Banker, though Jordan calls me something else that rhymes with Banker) our Purple steed is up to scratch and ready to bear us across an expanse of water, mountain ranges and average speed checks.

 

This much we know and can plan for, we do however need your help to raise funds for Rainbows Children Hospice as they are our charity of choice. Children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions come to the Hospice for specialist respite stays, symptom management, palliative and end-of-life care. Their families, too, are supported and helped by Rainbows on their difficult journey.
