Glencorse's Push Up Fundraiser

Fergus Bolton is raising money for Brothers in Arms

Glencorse Push Up Fundraiser · 21 September 2020

We use digital technology that men can use to enable them to self-manage and engage with their own mental health. We call it 'Prevention Through Self-Management' because waiting until a man reaches crisis before he gets help is like throwing a lifebuoy ring into the water when already drowning.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As a house of 56 boys we are doing 6,211 push ups for every man that has committed suicide in Scotland in the last 10 years. That works out to 111 push ups for every boy in the house.

We are doing this as mental health has been so badly affected by the national lockdown. We want to bring awareness to mens mental health in Scotland and support a charity that does such great work to help men with mental health issues.
