As some of you may know, I enjoy a drink or two, I can often be found sat in the bar of my local boozer with a pint in my hand or something stronger.

I’ve estimated that I spend approx 300 quid a month on alcohol, something I believe is far too much, this is why I’ve decided to take part in the “Dry January” event, a whole month with no alcohol, it will benefit both my health and my wallet along with my chosen charity Aerobility.

My reason for choosing this charity is I am a keen aviator, Aviation has been part of my life for a long time, I also have family members who are disabled along with disabled friends, Aerobility is a charity that helps these people realise their dreams of flying.

My aim is to raise 300 pounds equivalent to what I would spend in 1 month at the pub.

I’m not asking for massive amounts from people, any donation received will go a long way in helping these people out!
