Story

Hello everyone.

You look nice today. If you don't know me, my name's Alex Perry and I work for Golfmagic.com - Europe's leading digital golf magazine.

We're keen supporters of the Four Course Classic, which takes place each June on the longest day. The FCC sees golfers play four rounds of golf across four courses on a single day to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.

On May 4, 2012, myself and my good friend Andrew Roberts will be taking on the FCC. We will be teeing off before sunrise and finishing 15 hours and 72 holes later in total darkness.

Here is our itinerary (tee times are approximate):

5.15am Hoebridge Golf Club
9.00am Burhill Golf Club (New Course)
12.30pm Hersham Golf Club
4.30pm Silvermere Golf Club

While the idea behind Golfmagic taking part is to write about our experience and encourage people to sign up for the main event six weeks later, it seems silly not to try and raise some money for a very worthy cause. Every little helps and will be more than appreciated.

And now some spiel from JustGiving...

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
