Brighton Marathon 2017 · 9 April 2017 ·

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This year I will be running my first marathon in life. I run a couple of half marathons but running 42,195 m will be a great challenge! I have decided to fundraise to Multiple Sclerosis Society as they are doing a great job in supporting those who suffer due to MS and funding the medical research.

MS stands for multiple sclerosis which is a neurological condition that affects the brain and spinal cord (the central nervous system). 'Sclerosis' means scarring or hardening of tiny patches of tissue. 'Multiple' is added because this can happen at more than one place in the brain and spinal cord.  - you can read more about MS on this website: https://www.mstrust.org.uk

The marathon will take place in Brighton on the 9th of April 2017. If you are around, please come and support me and other runners!
