KIDS GET ARTHRITIS TOO!

Alec is 9. He was diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis (JIA) in September 2014. In his drawing he vividly represented his arthritis as being like a volcano in his joints.  He also loves bikes!  That's all the motivation I needed to get training for my UK end to end cycle.

There are over 12,000 children with juvenile arthritis in the UK. It can affect any child. It can be a life changer. Parents feel powerless as they attempt to comfort their child in pain.

This is a subject close to my heart as I myself was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis last year at the age of 32. My medicine is helping so far.

My friend Rob Paterson and I will be cycling on average 90 miles a day to cross the UK over 10 days.  Trevor Amos will be providing back-up support.  We're raising money for NRAS who support kids like Alec and their families.

Please give generously. Any child whose quality of life we can improve is priceless.

Thank you.
