Philippa Grace is raising money for HOMELINK Lewes

New Year's Eve 24 Hour Sing & Danceathon · 31 December 2020

Campaign by HOMELINK Lewes (RCN 1174895)
A fundraising campaign to future-proof the support HOMELINK provides to local parents and children affected by homelessness.

Story

The three Grace girls (Pippa/Frog, Tilly & Claudia) have been grounded by a positive Covid test 2 days before Xmas! So we're using our quarantine to raise awareness of the growing local homeless crisis, and funds for HOMELINK.  We're going to sing and dance badly and continuously for 24 hours  12 pm - 12 pm from New Year's Eve to New Year's Day.  Please support our talent-free efforts - no amount too small - and help HOMELINK help as many people as possible to put homelessness behind them in 2021.

HOMELINK's interest-free loan scheme has been helping families break free from untenable living situations and access a safe, secure, permanent home for over 20 years.  Loans are repaid slowly at an affordable monthly rate and then recycled to help the next family or individual in need.  HOMELINK offers a hand-up, not a hand-out, to those in crisis. This cycle of giving is what makes HOMELINK so special in Sussex ... but it has become increasingly difficult to meet the demand for our support through existing funds due to a significant rise in the number of people seeking help during the Coronavirus pandemic. So we've launched the #homes4families campaign and set a fundraising target of £10k to help us continue to assist parents and children facing homelessness.  Thank you in advance for supporting #homes4families.  Together we can prevent homelessness and help local families into housing.
