THE CHALLENGE: To cycle 100 miles around my home parish of St Mary's.

Now that my hair has finally come back, it's time for me to give back -

The photo on the left is me 6 months ago just before receiving my stem cell transplant (bone marrow) following 18 months of intense chemotherapy in order to combat a type of blood cancer called Multiple Myeloma.  

The photo on the right is me now - I am not entirely out of the woods yet, but with my current health, I wanted challenge myself and raise some much needed funds for the Jersey General Hospital charity, Friends of Jersey Oncology, who took such great care of both me and my family during my treatment.

I would like to see the doctors and nurses treated to something nice so as to show our appreciation for all their hard work at this time of need.
