This year my son and I are taking part in the Great North Run. Stan is doing the Mini North Run on the Saturday with support from me running with him and his Mum and Sister on the sidelines over the 1.5k distance. I find this very remarkable as he is only seven and asked to take part and collect for Age UK. I will be taking part in the Great North Run the following day and will be supported by my family over the 13 mile distance.
