Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I can't believe I am actually going to do this!

One of the reasons I have chosen to run for Age UK is after seeing one of their campaigns to raise awareness about malnutrition among the elderly whilst in hospital.  After a recent spell of time in hospital, my grandma reached a pathetic six stone.  There were various reasons for this but one of them was the fact that the staff didn't have time to help with eating! I found that shocking! Surely the measure of a humane society is how well it treats its vulnerable. 

Charities that support the elderly are often at the less glamourous end of the spectrum and struggle to raise much needed funds... so please dig deep and donate now.
