Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My friend Bernard and I had been friends and work colleagues for over 20 years and in our retirement we had embarked to walk the full length of the Thames Path. We started from the London end and had completed the walk in 10 mile bite size chunks and had reached Eton Wick when Bernard told me that the cancer he thought that had been eradicated, had spread through his body and sadly he passed away in June 2016. Bernard and I shared our love of rugby and in his younger days had played for Old Erithians and Gravesend rugby clubs as  hooker.
