The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art has a worldwide reputation for excellence in theatre training. RADA believes that talented actors and technicians should be entitled to training regardless of their financial circumstances. As a charity we fundraise to support the students and work of the Academy.

Story

Hello all!

Where do I start?? Well i've been offered a place on the three year acting course at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) starting in Sept 2006, which i'm absolutely overjoyed about! Being given a place on this course is extremely important to me and will prepare me for what I hope will be a long and successful career as a thesp! However money talks and right now its screaming abuse. The course itself costs £3000 per year, while i am told the cost of living in London is about £9000 per year. This poses a problem as I am already a graduate and therefore am not eligable for LEA support. etc. Holding down a job that will keep enough money rolling while studying is apparently virtually impossible as the course is full-time and full-on! I have been working hard here in Dublin to pay for the fees and living costs, but I am still hugely short of the target. Thats where you come in....

I would really appreciate it if you would consider sponsoring me so that I can not only take up my place at RADA but also stay the duration! No donation is too small- just whatever you can afford.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Royal Academy of Dramatic Art will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support and I wish you all the best!!
