Paige and Ida are delighted to welcome you back for our holiday virtual wine tasting to benefit The Lady Garden Foundation. Join us over Zoom as we host the ultimate drinks party or your very own virtual festive pre's this holiday season.
The Wine
We will be trying four fantastic wines that we hope will become your firm favourites for the festive season and beyond.
Champagne Delamotte Brut NV (£36.95) - Celebrations call for sparkles and this small-scale producer makes exquisite wines perfect for pouring at Christmas.
Chardonnay Nelson Family Vineyards 2020,(£17.50) – You’d be forgiven for thinking this is a white Burgundy! This South African Chardonnay is refined, elegant and oh so moreish.
Pomerol Ets J-P Moueix 2018 (£22.25) – The perfect bottle of Bordeaux to dive into at over Christmas with a hearty roast or just cosied up in front of the fire.
Corney & Barrow Sauternes 2017 (£14.50) – Who doesn’t love a sweet treat!? Our Sauternes is sublime and classically charming.

The Charity
We are thrilled to be hosting this tasting in aid of The Lady Garden Foundation and kindly ask you to make a minimum £10 donation to join here. This is a cause very close to our hearts as in 2019 Ida's flatmate was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer, turning her world (and Ida's) upside down.
Today, and every day, 58 women in the UK will receive the life changing news of a gynaecological cancer diagnosis. The Lady Garden Foundation is on a mission to raise significant funds and awareness that can drastically reduce these diagnoses and devastating outcomes. The 5 gynaecological cancers, Ovarian, Cervical, Uterine, Vulval and Vaginal, are often referred to as Silent Killers, not only because of their complicated symptoms which can be missed by healthcare professionals, but also due to a lack of awareness surrounding these diseases.
The Tasting
Throughout the tasting there will be some quiz questions, a Q&A session on the wines, some words from Dr John Butler, Trustee of The Lady Garden Foundation and Emily Plane, a patient of John’s at The Royal Marsden but also a much-loved member of The Lady Garden family. We ask that you donate £10 to this justgiving page once you have signed up for the tasting. We are so grateful for your generosity.
