1100 miles, 5 capitals, 10 cyclists, 12 days, 1 great cause

In May 2014, ten amateur cyclists will set off from Edinburgh towards London.  Twelve days later, they will arrive back where they started, having cycled over 1100 miles and taken in each of the five capitals of the UK and Ireland.

The aim is to raise much-needed funds for the charity Cystinosis Foundation UK, which supports research into treatments for the rare genetic condition, cystinosis.

The cause is particularly close to the heart of one of the cyclists, Neil Hutchison, whose daughter Morven was born with the condition in 2010. Neil is a trustee of the charity and the main organiser of this event.

The Great Big Cycle team would like to thank each and every one of their extended support team, who have worked tirelessly on various fundraising events to get us to this fantastic total.
