We, a few members of our family, are taking part in the Great Notts Bike Ride! 50 miles, crazy, I know!

Unfortunately, the past few years have been hard for all of us. Firstly, we lost a member of our family, Liz, to cancer 4 years ago. She was away with the Territorial Army when she collapsed and was flew back home where she was diagnosed and sadly passed away within months. Then, in June last year, another family member, Ashya,  was knocked down while she was out on her bike in Nottingham. She was training to do the ride herself, but died 8 days before. Ashya was fundraising for Cancer Research UK in memory of Liz. We couldn't begin to tell you how amazing Liz and Ashya both were, and how much they are missed everyday by all of our family.

So now, this year, we are hoping to continue what Ashya was doing, and remember them both for the truly wonderful people they were!

The ride is taking place on the 22nd of June, which would have been Liz's birthday 🎉

We have no set target to raise. Every little counts so whatever you can donate would be brilliant and greatly appreciated!
