NASS is only charity in the UK dedicated to supporting people with axial spondyloarthritis (AS), a painful, progressive rheumatic disease which mainly affects the spine. An estimated 200,000 people live with AS in the UK. Our 90+ branches across the UK offer regular exercise to anyone with AS.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This will be my 5th London Marathon and many of you may have contributed to my various fundraisers before. I am asking you to dig deep again for NASS. My brother Howard suffers from Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) like thouands of others and your donations will be a great help to them. Go to the NASS link on this page to learn more about their work.

I like to compete in various races on road and cross country through out the year for Newmarket Joggers and we will have plenty of our club running in the 2013  London event. I will be running in my club vest, but am proud to promote NASS and with your help, raise a healthy sum.

My target is to run sub three hours in 2013, having only managed this once in 1991. I am asking you to make a small donation before the marathon, and then, if I run sub 3 hours, to revisit the site and double it. I'm up for a challenge if you are!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks,

Greg.
