My father passed away just under a year ago.  He died of cancer having only just semi-retired at the age of 54.  This has had a huge impact on me and changed my whole perspective on life.

I've struggled to find ways to make myself more comfortable with the fact that he's gone and the only way I've found which eases the pain is to raise money for cancer charities to hopefully help those who will be luckier and beat the cancer.

The Macmillian nurses were very kind to my father in the final days.

I'm aiming to raise a crazy £1 million pounds over the course of a few years by mainly running ridiculous distances OR crazy challenges... anyone wishing to challenge me to a sushi eating contest!?
