Adam Broadbent, husband of Guaranteed Fitness member Heather, was diagnosed with a stage four brain and lung cancer caused by a rare genetic mutation in March of last year.

With a terminal prognosis, Adam and his friends and family members have raised over £76,000 for the Christie and are now hoping to reach £100,000.

Adam's story has so touched us at Guaranteed Fitness that we wanted to help the gang to raise money for a very worthy charity.

Co-owner Jon Hall lost his uncle to cancer 15 years ago. "My uncle was also given 3 months to live and died 3 months to the day later, leaving three teenage children, so Adam's story immediately made me want to help. My girlfriend lives only 50 meters from The Christie too so I am reminded of good work they do there on a daily basis.

So far the guys at Guaranteed Fitness have organised a Healthy Bake Sale and the next charity event is a Netball match on the 20th July at Macclesfield Leisure centre. Details on the facebook group.
