On Sunday 7th April we will be running the Bournemouth Bay Half Marathon.

 

We will be starting at the same time, but Emily will be finishing a long way ahead. She a lithe and fit young hare, me a podgy and ungainly tortoise. She singing and chatting as she flies along, me gasping for air and clutching at my chest.

 

We are both trying to raise some funds for the British Heart Foundation. A cunning ruse, I think, because I imagine that they will have experts dotted along the route ready to provide emergency care to over confident and over rotund middle aged twits like me, should we over do things.

 

So here’s the question to you. Could you find it in your heart to chuck a fiver in our direction.
