Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been press-ganged into walking the Hadrian's Wall Path for charity with some friends!

Harvey's Dad died of cancer in 2008, and one of his unfulfilled wishes was to walk Hadrian's Wall, so Harvey decided to walk it for him.  Over a few beers, the idea evolved to be a charity walk with his bestest chums!

We aim to walk the 84 miles of the national trail from Wallsend in Newcastle to Bowness-on Solway in 6 days (27th June to 2nd July) raising as much money as we can for St Luke's Hospice in Plymouth, and Cancer Research UK (please see our other page to donate to Cancer Research UK).

I have chosen St Luke's as they provided fabulous care to my friend Mick in his last days before his death from cancer.

UPDATE: WE DID IT!  It was tough going, but we all did the 85 miles (84 on the trail and another mile back to the pub!)  Thanks to everyone who supported me, and remember it's not too late to donate.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

THANK YOU!

Martin
