Assalamo alaikom and Hello everyone!

 

The last 2 years I’ve been running the British 10k and decided I could not pass the opportunity of doing so again this year, especially knowing the level of support I got in previous years from your generous donations. This year I will be running for the National Zakat Foundation ( NZK) who help the homeless and underprivileged individuals and families in our communities. One of the things that made me passionate about this cause besides its dire need is how powerful their philosophy is. Although we are constantly shown the plight of many individuals across the world through the media, we may sometimes forget those that are literally outside our doorstep. NZF’s philosophy is to help those in our immediate localities until they are financially stable, and therefore bring about real change in our communities. The benefit of this is exponential as those that are helped will hopefully reciprocate the benefit to other needy individuals in our society, so your donations can really go a long way.

If you do not donate then I may have to unleash the wrath of this cat on you ; )
