Ten years ago, Allie was diagnosed with Macular Dystrophy, a rare condition which affects the central vision in both of her eyes.  Allie is now registered as blind and last year decided to support young people who are suffering with sight-loss and became a mentor for Look UK. 

The challenges for young people suffering sight-loss are far beyond anything that many of us could imagine and the work and support that Look UK offer, gives young people the chance to feel supported at a time when they can feel very vulnerable and scared.

We are running the marathon to raise money for Look UK, so they can continue with their amazing work. Any contributions - big or small - that we get from YOU will be so appreciated.

Allie's sister and business partner, Becky has jumped on board to support this amazing cause and will be joining as Allie's guide runner on the day!
