Hello kind friends,

Well I'm back from walking along part of the Great Wall of China, didn't get eaten by a snake, came back in one piece despite being ripped to shreds by evil scratching thorny plants.  Some of the steps were half way up my thigh (doesn't help being short despite all nice things coming in small packages) and other times we were scrambling through the undergrowth pretty much on all fours as it was sooo steep, almost vertical, perfect training for the British Army!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I shall be spending a week trekking along the Great Wall of China trying my best to avoid being bitten by a snake (I REALLY hate those things) and spending the nights in a very basic tent (note to self, buy sleeping mat) and not showering. Sounds stinky I know but I'm delighted to tell you that daily a bucket of warm water will be supplied! Hurrah!

I am paying for the trip myself so your sponsorship money wont be going to the 'luxury sleeping bag and preprepared food parcels fund' but will be going to the RNID. I decided given that my grandparents, parents and some of my friends are deaf  and hard of hearing, (although I swear my mother is putting it on) this is a fantastic opportunity to raise some money for a brilliant charity that I believe is important to us all. I expect its a charity that will be helping your grandparents/parents/yourselves too one day. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
