Hello :) 

I have always had a passion for running and I have decided to combine this passion with raising money for a good cause. I am runnning a half marathon this coming September in aid of World Vision. For the past 7 years we have sponsored a 14 year old girl called Lediana through world vision.  Lediana lives in Lezha, situatuated in Northern Albania, a country which has struggled econimically since the collaspe of the former communist regime. Life in rural Albania can be particually difficult and World Vision is helping some of the most vulnerable communities in this region. I have written to Leidiana to let her know I am running for her and all those living in the region of Lezha.

Sponsors are encouraged to meet the children they support and Louise and I intend to go to the region of Lezha next year to meet Leidiana and see how all the money raised for this area is being spent.
