Story
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Our major charity project this year is to take the first UK multi-ability team to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, the world’s highest free standing mountain. The team includes nine disabled and nine non-disabled adults who are paired up to support each other in the climb. The expedition will be filmed by a very experienced film maker and Hans will provide the photographic record of this arduous but magnificent challenge.
The expedition was Herta’s brainchild and you can read more about her involvement on http://www.enham.org.uk/template.asp?section=0001001000030022
The purpose of this expedition is to demonstrate that we can achieve incredible things if we work together and support one another, regardless of our limitations and to raise funds for Enham
Where is the money going? Disability Charity Enham www.enham.org.uk needs to raise £1.2 million for a purpose built centre where they can offer training to disabled clients enabling them to return to employment.
How do you help? By donating through this site. It’s simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Enham will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. In fact that money comes from the Government and that doesn’t happen every day!
If you are sponsoring us from outside the UK please check on this on line currency converter: http://www.xe.com/ucc/ as all donations will take place in GBP.
Please become involved and sponsor us! Thank you very much for your generosity.
