Story

My nannan passed away in 2012 from cancer. After seeing the work that Macmillan did for her as a sufferer and us as a family, I appreciate how Macmillan needs help from fundraising to support people suffering from this terrible disease.

12th July would have been my nannan's 61st birthday, so I thought what better way to celebrate it than to raise money and awareness for such a fantastic cause. I started running in December, and am currently reaching 6k on my jogs, so still room for improvement before the big day!! At least it will have been a challenge.

My boyfriend and I are running the race together. His grandad also suffered from cancer, and he supported me through my nannan's illness. We are going to support each other in our fundraising and completing the race.
