 For those of you that know me, know that charity work is something that I am extremely passionate about. I have been blessed with the opportunity to travel to Tanzania along with my father and a few other members of the Islamic help team to carry out the distribution of food packs to those in desperate need of our help.

Please assist me in raising £11000 for my Tanzania appeal, I've set myself a target of 220 food packs to reach, that's £50 per pack, which lasts a family for one full month. 

Each food pack contains:

• Rice 10kg
• Wheat Flour 10kg
• Beans 5kg
• Sugar 3kg
• Cooking Oil 3 Litres
• Spaghet 12.5kg
• Tea Leaves 0.5kg
• Dates 0.5kg
• Salt, spices and Biscuits

Tanzania is facing numerous crises, which they need our help to tackle. Over 90% of the population live in areas plagued with malaria and 80,000 die each year from the disease. Most of who are children. Many of the children that survive are left as orphans struggling each day to survive. This is just one of the major issues the population face. 80% of Tanzania lack access to basic necessities, which we take for granted such as food, water, healthcare and clean sanitation. 42% of children under the age of five suffer from chronic malnutrition.

 Being of those that were blessed with such comfort compared to others, it is our duty to share our blessings with those less fortunate. There is no other reason why we would deserve such a comfortable life while others do not but to use it to make a difference in the world. So please help me to help those who feel helpless and together we can make that difference!

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity." - Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 604.
