Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I'm going to be running the Paris marathon on 6th April 2008.  I was gutted I had to pull out of the Dublin city Marathon on the 29th October 2007 due to being struck down with a kidney infection for a month.  Have no fear I'm not going to let running a marathon defeat me, my place in Paris is confirmed so its back to hours of training for me!!  For those of you kind people who've sponsored me already, your pledges will automatically be moved to the Paris run.  As you know I've chosen to run for the Bobby Moore Fund, its a charity really close to my heart as I lost my beloved mum to bowel cancer 3 years ago.  Every penny raised goes towards research into the disease which sadly will touch many of our lives at some point.  Its my first and last marathon (probably!) Any contribution you can make, however small, is so valuable, so please sponsor me online.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your continued support.
