💙 Supporting BRCA+Chat in Memory of My Sister 💙
In 2018, my beautiful sister passed away from breast cancer at just 28 years old. She was full of life, strength, and love—but she carried the BRCA1 gene mutation, a hereditary fault that greatly increases the risk of breast and ovarian cancers.
My family and I also carry this faulty gene. It’s something that has changed all of our lives—forever. Knowing you carry BRCA1 means facing incredibly tough decisions about your future health, your family, and your body. It can be overwhelming, isolating, and frightening.
That’s why I’m raising money for BRCA+Chat, a small charity that offers vital emotional support and community to people like us. They create a safe space to talk, share, cry, and connect with others who truly understand what this journey is like. They’re a lifeline to so many facing the unknown.
This cause is deeply personal to me. I want to honour my sister’s memory by helping others who are living with the same fear, pain, and decisions she faced. If we can support just one person through early detection, guidance, or connection, it’s worth every step.
Please consider donating—no matter how small. Every penny helps BRCA+Chat continue their amazing work and ensures that no one faces this journey alone.
Thank you so much for reading and supporting. 💙
