As many of you are aware my youngest daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when she was 7 years old, meaning that she is insulin dependant, given through regular injections. Over two years ago she was fortunate to be given the opportunity have an "insulin pump", a small electronic device that gives her insulin constantly, replacing the injections.

The insulin pump has revolutionised her life. It gives her more freedom, more self confidence and ultimately having an insulin pump is better for her health-wise.

An insulin pump is very expensive and I want to raise money to give other families in the Harrogate area the opportunity to change their childs life for the better.
