UN Women is the UN agency for gender equality & women's empowerment. It was established to accelerate progress on meeting the needs of women & girls worldwide. Their aim is to remove the social and cultural barriers that prevent women and girls from achieving their potential. These barriers exist in public policy, educational opportunity, conscious or unconscious bias, and economic empowerment. 

100% of the money raised will go towards UN Women UK, as it is something close to my heart. After the past few years researching, dedicating my time and energy into women in electronic music, I am well aware that the industry is in danger of under-representing female talent. 

I am producing and directing a 12 minute documentary film tackling the question of gender equality in the electronic music industry. Filming in Manchester, London and Paris, I will meet influential musicians in the public eye to discuss their experiences and give advice to girls wanting to follow their dreams.
