Hi to all who visit our page... many thanks for taking the time to visit our page.

The Flying Angels of Hamwic are nurses who work on the Haematology and Oncology Day Unit. We are trying to raise money for the new Haematology Day Unit (Red and White appeal),  which will provide a better service for patients with Haematology cancers and conditions by providing a better service to those who are experiencing a tough time. 

Within our working environment we meet many patients who are experiencing a tough time.  They have to learn to cope with cancer and adjust to a different way of life.  Over the years they have shown to us to be inspirational and nothing gets in their way to keep the fight going. If our patients who can laugh and show such courage and inspiration, then we the Flying Angels of Hamwic can take our wings and jump out of the plane by doing a tandem sky dive on Saturday 31st July 2010.

We owe it to such amazing people who we have had the privilege of meeting over the years.  Their inspirational stories of achievements and accomplishments has brought us much laughter, as well as sharing a tear or to.

This is for our patients. We want to help our NHS service become a better one.

 

So come on, one and all support us and dig into your pockets.  PLEASE help us raise money for this great project.
