Hello my name is Samy and I am 14 years old. When I was born, I was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.

Cerebral Palsy affects everyone differently and no two people are the same. I am unable to stand or walk unaided and I have difficulty with my balance and sitting.

The everyday tasks that others take for granted are extremely hard for me to do, like get dressed, brush my hair and teeth, climb the stairs, sit on a chair. I wish I could stand and walk on my own, and do all the things that my friends can do. I would love for example be able to play a football one day.

Since the age of two, I have participated in a conductive education program in Peto Institute, Budapest, Hungary and in many other CE centers.

I also,do every day physiotherapy with my mother sometimes it is a lot for me but I am so proud of each new achievement I manage to do. I am learning to overcome my motor problems in everyday life.

I made progress and still need to work even harder to become as much independent as possible. I need to improve more in all areas of development as a person living with a motor disorder.

. Because all my therapies, treatment  and special needs equipment are very expensive and not funded by the National Health Service, I don't have any other choice than organizing charity events to raise money for my therapies  & equipment.
