Bowel cancer effect thousands of families across the UK, including my own. I was unfortunate enough to lose my grandad to Bowel cancer 12 years ago but was too young to understand the complexities of the illness when he left us. Bowel cancer is a treatable illness if diagnosed early and I hope to give it more attention. With more money for research, families such as my own won't have to deal with losses like we did.
