Garden House Hospice Care offers care and support to patients and their families. As a registered charity the hospice is dependent on donations so hospice care can be offered through in-patient admissions, day hospice, hospice at home, out-patients clinics and the family support team.

Story

On Saturday 28 July 2012, Lee Portingale and Jacky Portingale will be taking part in the Sharkfest swim in San Francisco to raise money for the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth. This event requires the swimmers to swim the 1.5 miles from Alcatraz to San Francisco Bay in water that may contain sharks!

The Garden House Hospice offers its specialist care free of charge to patients and families. However, they are a voluntary organisation and without the support of the local community we would not be able to continue to keep the doors of the hospice open for those in need of our care.

If you feel that you would like to help, your support will be warmly welcomed!
